Directions

Grate the zest of well-washed and dried oranges.

Squeeze the oranges and filter their juice to remove all the seeds.

Pour the orange juice, orange zest and sugar into a saucepan.

Boil the orange juice over low heat for 5 minutes, stirring constantly.

Add the pectin or gelatin.

Whisk well to avoid lumps and dissolve the pectin or gelatin completely.

Add the lemon juice and mix well.

Cook for 3 to 4 minutes, then turn off the heat.

Prepare the molds by greasing them with vegetable oil or butter.

Line the mold with parchment paper cut into strips to better fit the edges.

Pour the orange mixture into the mold to obtain a thickness of approximately 1cm.

Allow the jelly to cool to room temperature, then transfer it to the freezer for 1 day.

Remove the candies from the mold and cut them to the desired size.

Pour some sugar onto a plate.

Dip the candies in the sugar.

Ready! Enjoy!

Place in an airtight container and refrigerate.
