Directions

In a saucepan, mix the water, the cranberries, the orange peels and the sugar (or jaggery powder).

Boil the water and whisk until the sugar is dissolved.

When the water boils, simmer for about 10 minutes, until the cranberries are tender and burst, stirring occasionally.

Remove from heat and let steep for 15 minutes.

Filter the syrup into an airtight container.

Keep refrigerated for at least 2 weeks.

Later pour the syrup into a glass with fresh water and mix well. You can also use it for cocktails, mocktails, pancakes, waffles, cakes, ice-creams.
