Directions

Soften the margarine until it resembles cream (but not runny).

Mix jaggery (sugarcane) with warm water.

Mix all the ingredients together (buckwheat flour, margarine, water, jaggery, baking powder, chocolate chips or dry raisins) and work the dough for 15 minutes.

Start preheating the oven to 180 degrees.

Roll out the dough to a thickness of 5 to 8 mm and cut out the cookies.

Bake the cookies for 15-20 minutes at 180 degrees (this will depend on their height).
