Directions

Cut the jaggery into small cubes.

Roast the peanuts.

In a saucepan, add the jaggery, the water and the ghee.

Cook until the consistency becomes very sticky, almost like superglue.

Take a mold and spread oil on the bottom and on all sides.

Pour the liquid into the mold. Spread it evenly.

Sprinkle with grated coconut and peanuts.

Refrigerate overnight.

Cut into small diamond-shaped pieces.

Ready to serve. Enjoy with a hot or cold drink.

Chaku can also be used as a garnish for yomari.
