Directions

Soak the almonds in water for a day or more. The longer they soak, the creamier the almond milk will be.

Drain the soaking water and rinse the almonds thoroughly under cold running water. Discard the water.

Place the soaked almonds and water in a blender. Blend for 2 minutes or until the almonds are completely ground into a very fine powder and the water is white and opaque.

Strain the nut milk through several layers of cheesecloth or a nut milk bag and place it over a measuring cup. Squeeze to extract excess moisture from the ground almonds. You should obtain an amount of milk similar to the amount of water used.

Add the vanilla powder and mix well.

Ready! Keep refrigerated. Enjoy with chia seeds for breakfast.
