Directions

To marinate the mutton/goat, mix in a bowl the lemon juice, the vinegar, the plain yogurt (or curd) (optional) and all the spices (garam masala, turmeric powder, cumin powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, ginger paste, garlic paste, salt and black pepper).

Cut the mutton/goat into cubes.

Add the mutton/goat cubes to the bowl and mix well.

Cover the bowl and place it in the refrigerator for 2 hours or overnight.

Prepare the grill (or preheat the oven at 190 degrees).

Thread the mutton/goat onto skewers. You can add a slice of onion and capsicum between each cube if you like.

Grill the mutton/goat or bake it until cooked through.
