Directions

Boil the pokeweed green leaves for 15 minutes by rinsing them and changing the water at least twice (require strict, multi-step boiling before consumption because the roots, stems, and mature leaves are highly toxic).

Drain the pokeweed green leaves and throw away the water.

Finely chop the garlic cloves.

Roast the sesame seeds in a dry pan and grind them.

Heat a pan with sunflower oil.

When the oil is hot, roast the fenugreek seeds until they become fragrant and a dark golden color.

Add the garlic cloves and the turmeric powder and cook until golden brown.

In a bowl, mix the pokeweed green leaves, the sesame powder, the fenugreek seeds, the garlic cloves, the salt, the black pepper and the lemon juice.

Ready! Enjoy! You can also serve your salad with fish or meat. Have a hot or cold drink or a local alcohol.
