Directions

Wash and finely chop the cabbage and mix it with salt and turmeric.

Chop the onion and the tomatoes.

Peel the carrot and grate it.

Mix all the vegetables together in a bowl.

Dry roast the sesame seeds, poppy seeds, and dried chilies. Then grind them into a powder. Mix them all with the vegetables.

Heat the mustard oil in a pan and add the fenugreek seeds to the hot oil and once they crackle, add them to the salad and mix quickly.
