Directions

Peel the potatoes and boil them. They should be cooked through. Cut them into small pieces.

Chop the small green chilies and the coriander leaves.

Heat the butter (or ghee) in a pan.

When the butter has melted, add the cumin seeds and let them sizzle. Lower the heat. Stir them as soon as they start to sizzle. You should smell their delicious earthy aroma.

Add the green chilies and mix well.

Add the potatoes and mix well.

Add the turmeric powder, the cumin powder, the red chili powder and the salt. Mix well.

Fry the potatoes for 3 minutes over low to medium heat. Stir regularly.

Place in a bowl and sprinkle with coriander leaves. Then add the lemon juice and mix well.

Ready. Enjoy it with rice or roti.
