Directions

Chop the onions, the capsicum and the coriander leaves.

Finely chop the garlic cloves.

Boil the tomatoes in water for 5 minutes with the capsicum.

Peel the tomatoes.

Grind the tomatoes and the capsicum using the same water.

Heat the oil (or butter or ghee) in a pan.

When the oil is hot, add the garlic and the onions. When the garlic is lightly browned, add the tomato paste, the salt, and the black pepper. For a mildly spicy soup, add the turmeric powder and the red chili powder. Mix well.

Cook for 5 minutes.

Add the cream. Mix well and cook for 2 minutes.

Pour the soup into a bowl. Garnish with the coriander leaves and the grated cheese if desired.

Ready. Enjoy! You can serve your soup with breads. Have a hot or cold drink or a local alcohol. Enjoy!
