Directions

Peel the potatoes.

Boiled them, then mashed them.

Make small balls with the puree. Set aside.

Chop the onions, the green onions and the tomatoes.

Crush the garlic cloves, the red chilies and the timur in a mortar until you get a paste.

Grate the cheese.

Heat the sunflower oil (or butter or ghee) in a pan.

As soon as the oil is hot, add the onions.

When the onions are translucent, add the previously crushed mixture and the turmeric powder. Cook for 2 minutes. Stir.

Add the tomatoes and cook for another 2 minutes. Stir.

Add the water, the salt, and the green onions. Cook until boiling.

Place the potato balls inside the soup.

Cook until the potato balls float.

Add the grated cheese and let it melt.

Pour all contents into bowls.

Garnish with the coriander leaves.
