Potatoes (Aloo) Sadheko

Directions

Peel the potatoes and cut them into large pieces.

Cook the potatoes for 5 to 7 minutes. They should be cooked through but not falling apart.

Chop the onions, the tomatoes (into very small pieces), the garlic cloves, the ginger, the coriander leaves and the small green chilies.

Place the potatoes, the onions, the garlic cloves, the ginger, the coriander leaves and the green chilies in a bowl.

Heat some oil in a pan.

When the oil is hot, add the turmeric powder.

After a few seconds, add the tomatoes, along with the cumin powder, the salt and the red chili powder. Cook everything for 1 minute, stirring constantly.

Then pour the cooked tomatoes into the bowl with the other ingredients.

Mix everything together.
