Directions

Finely chop the green chilies.

Heat the mustard oil over low heat and roast the cumin seeds until fragrant and a deep golden color.

Add the mint leaves, the cumin seeds, the small green chilies, the ginger paste, the garlic paste, the salt, the chaat masala, the lemon juice, and the water (or plain yogurt or curd) to a blender.

Blend everything together to create a smooth mint chutney.
