Cheese Balls are a popular, versatile appetizer, usually consisting of a blend of cheeses with potatoes and coated in breadcrumbs and deep-fried until golden.

Directions

Peel the potatoes and boil them.

Grate the cheese.

Once the potatoes are cooked, pour them into a bowl and mash them with a fork.

Add the cheese, the salt, the black pepper, the red chili powder and the cumin powder. Mix well.

Pour the breadcrumbs onto a plate.

Divide the mixture into equal portions.

Form into balls.

Roll the balls in the breadcrumbs, making sure they cover the entire surface.

Pour the oil into a large saucepan and heat it over medium heat.

Pour the balls into it.

After 1 to 2 minutes, turn them over to cook the unsubmerged surface.

When the balls are crispy and light brown, remove them and place them on absorbent paper.

Ready! Enjoy! Serve with a chutney and a salad of your choice. Have a hot or cold drink or a local alcohol.
