Directions

Chop the onions, the tomatoes, the coriander leaves and the green onion stalks.

Wash and slice the mushrooms.

In a bowl, combine the chicken hearts, the sunflower oil, the salt, the garlic paste, the ginger paste, the red chili powder, and the cumin powder. Let marinate for approximately 10 minutes.

Cook the mushrooms in water for about 5 minutes.

Heat a pan and cook the seasoned chicken hearts over medium heat until cooked through. Stir regularly (about 6 to 7 minutes).

Place the chicken hearts on a plate.

In the same pan, fry the onions until they are soft and translucent.

Add the tomatoes, the mushrooms and the turmeric powder. Simmer over low heat for 3 minutes. Mix well.

Add the chicken hearts, the coriander leaves, and the green onion stalks. Mix well and cook for 2 minutes.

Ready! Serve with rice or dal bhat or as a starter. Enjoy!
